Odd promotion messages in 1.05

First time using the new patch and as the Union after turn 1 resolution I get messages informing me of increased seniority to 1 eg McClellen, Butler and promotions eg Foote, Sumner all of whom are of course still locked. This never happened with the earlier betas in 1.04. Fort Sumter wasn't attacked on turn 1 in this game but I assume that is not connected.

This is getting crazier. Following the turn 2 resolution the next batch of messages are placing 11 generals on seniority 1 and another 2 are eligible for promotions. I'm sure it makes no difference but just for info this is a pbem game.

It's a known bug with 1.05. You should use 1.05a
