Hi,

is there a list of generals (union/csa) with their statistics (seniority etc.).
I have the problem, that i have no overview over all my generals and so it is not possible for me, to built a structure for my army.

Press F1 to view the forces list then filter the list to hide stacks without leaders. Once you filter the list, you may hover your cursor over the rank symbol in the 3rd column to view the stats of the leaders present in the stack, but this will not show you seniority; however, my guess is that you want a consolidated list of generals for each side, which shows you all their important statistics at a glance, including their abilities. Unfortunately, if this is what you want, you will need to build it yourself. I created a simple Excel spreadsheet for this purpose. I add to it every time another general appears. It takes some effort at the beginning, but once you've constructed it, you may use it for all your games.

We really need something like this that was created for AACW. I just don't
have the patience to do it myself. I forgot who made this, but I doubt they
would mind some enterprising player taking what they made and fixing it
and updating it for CW2.

I did those files. I started to update those to CW2 format in late 2013 but was then caught up by other developments and never had time to finish them.

Thanks for this list.
I put some information (name, seniority, rank, cost, values) in an excel-list, so i can sort it better.

If it is ok for you, i would publish it in this thread.

It's pretty good, just a lot of incomplete or incorrect names of generals. I'm trying to go through and fix those minor mistakes. The major ones (not because of you, they are just in the game) are the inclusion of a second Wilcox (Odmus M. Wilcox? Two Cadmus M. Wilcox's?) and the wrong Fry being in (It's James B. Fry that the portrait is based off of, not Speed S. Fry.)

Also, re-uploaded the file that gruffi posted with it updated. 99% of the credit goes to him for starting the Generals list in excel form.

Here's a new version. While still not complete, some generals/admirals added and many names, etc. fixed.

What's that phrase that starts with "S" and ends with "ticky this"?

The .xls and the .pdf are very helpful - thanks guys!
