Solid State Drives

I just upgraded my PC with a couple of 120GB solid state drives, one for Win8 and other essentials and the other specifically for games. I copied CW2 on to it to see what would happen and referesh my memory of the game.
This baby flies on an SSD. I got through the first tutorial (re-familiarizing myself) in record time and with much more success than I have had before. Everything works better and smoother. Armies rocket around the map. Battles resolve nearly instantly. And thanks to the WEGO model I still have time to organize and make decisions.
Are there any downsides to playing off an SSD other than the possibility that if you put too many big games on an SSD you'll run out of space?
