Trying to get into the game, couple of questions that I didn't see an answer for:

1. There is a event with the word "Camp" init for the Union than makes some of KY look under its control. Is it okay to move or build in that area or does that cause the state to secede(or do something pro south)??
2. I have been moving my "in port" fleets to Atlantic City as it easier to see. Is there a downside to that..maybe from a supply/refit angle?
3. If I sent a fleet next to a fort and it shows no units there, is that necessarily acurate, or the bastards just be hiding trying to lure me in?
4. The Atlantic squandron...whre should that be used? Shoul d I keep it in tact and have it fight raiders or should I split it up to be used for various other things?
5. The Erie Squadron...what possible use is it? Can't seem to leave the great lakes. Is it there in case of foreign intervention?

One more, My inital thoughts are to not buy voluteer bridgades unless that all that is left (for that area). Bad thinking? Perhaps use as garrison?

1. The Dick Robinson camp arrives before you may enter Kentucky without negative consequences.
2. No downside. Move them where it makes sense.
3. Could be a number of things. If it is an enemy port you might have been sunk.
4. Again, lots of choices. Use it to blockade, either close of in the blockade box. Use it to transport seaborne invasions.
5. Yes, in case of foreign intervention. You can get the small wooden ship to Cairo if you must.
One more. Depends. Volunteers are cheap and can be trained with a good general. But, they are volunteers.
