Still confused: backing up one turn / redoing previous turn

Very grateful for previous response, but still having trouble. I followed (I think) the response from Pocus, but the game date (late feb 63) does not change. I'm trying to replay a previous turn. Not to confuse with 'replay'.
From game I clicked menu
Then Load game after choosing the campaign number
Then in upper right hand corner reply options
Then restore previous turn
What am I missing? Thanks in advance for any help!

You load the game as like you should do to execute a turn.
Then you hit the ~ key (not sure if this is the correct key as it depends on the keyboard layout, for me it's a key with a 3 and a 2 under it).
This opens a console that allows you to replay a turn.
I'm sure other players will correct me on this.

I'm confused. You said "I'm trying to replay a previous turn. Not to confuse with 'replay'."
What minipol said is how to run an actual replay. What you said will load a previous turn (so that you can issue different orders, and re-play the turn). It sounds like you're doing what you were asking to do?

@ minipol,
He doesn't need that type of replay.
@ Gray Ghost,
That should do it. I just did a test, and it worked fine on my system. Do you have a previous turn to look at? My first test came up with a message of "no previous turn exists" or something similar. It only flashed for a short period, and I almost missed it. You need to have a previous turn in a backup folder in the same folder as the main game.

I'm editing the thread title then, we are talking about backing up one turn.

Sure you don't just want to delete it

Gray Ghost, what you want to do is
restore the previous turn--as you actually said in your description of what you're doing--, and you do that just the way you stated.
Don't forget to then
load the restored turn after restoring it
