As per the last patch, it was stated that the player can view all promotable generals using F1 and their names would be in red. I've fought and won several major battles, but none of the generals come up as red on this page. Is it working as intended and I'm missing something?

Related to that, I see division generals' names blinking (when selecting a corps on the main screen) after major battles - does this indicate they can be promoted or is it something else?

Yes, they are promotable when their name is pulsing/blinking.

You have to switch to unit leader, then you filter out stacks without leaders, and there you should see all your generals, by names. It should be in red if promotable. Not super easy to find if you don't know where to look at, we understand that... This is a stop-gap measure until we find time to do better, in a future patch.

I have version 1.02 installed and I've followed these directions, still nothing. I've found generals' names who are blinking after battle, found them in the unit list, and their names there are not red. Anyone else able to see red names in the units list of promotable generals? I feel like there's something I'm doing wrong.

Not sure that this function is working as advertised....
