Hi,

Just scored my first victory against the Yankee Invader (who is a lot more timid then before), but when Semmes shows up with the Alabama, they remained locked (redbrown stripe) until mid 1863 (when I won).

I take it this is not supposed to happen. I merged them with my Raiding Fleet in the box when they showed up, could this have messed it up?

WAD: CSS Alabama, and Semmes, are locked for a few turns. So is CSS Florida. They unlock soon enough

No, for some reason they remain locked for the entire game! It may be WAD, but Jan 66 is a little too long.

Huh.....actually, CSS Florida just unlocked for me, but yeah, Alabama is locked forever.....what happens, does the crew starve eventually?

CSS Alabama never touched Confederate soil, so I suppose it's OK provided they don't starve out there, and can raid shipping still

Decided to wiki the CSS Alabama. Apparently, it never did touch CSA soil. Not sure if wad or not, but it's feasible.

With new patch, the lock time has been reduced to 3
