Can we have the game settings locked in place please for PBEM games. My opponent and I have to reset them every turn.

Not sure but I think they change to default whenever we patch or swap hst files.

Its really annoying.

I am not sure about hst files. They should not change game options.
About patching, I am sure you do not patch the game every day

Many options are dynamic, i.e they are what the host sets them. This might be a problem if you don't like to play with the same options and you alternate hosting. You better synch with your opponent before or do a copy of the game for your PBEM at last resort.
