So who's using regional decisions? Which ones?
Actually I don't use them until now.
Somehow, with those many regions to me they seem to be ... not overly relevant.
What do you guys think?

Best regards

Im still learning them but I have a strong feeling that using them can make the difference against a human opponent.
The fortification are clearly important, development cards also and I like the demonstrations.

There are some important ones for both sides.

All of your partisans come from there. Demonstrations, Martial law and so on.

I use them. The partisans as mentioned, fortifications, sea mines, redoubt,... I like it.

there is a general issue about decisions that gives some a value beyond their notional role. In effect, they allow you to swop resource type so if you really need one and have a surplus/can spare another, then look over what the decisions require and produce - you may well find one that makes exactly the swap you need

Same here.
I still continue to dig deeper into the game and but I would later use them.
The regional decisions are a great addition to the game.
I think I have read somewhere, that you don't have to use the regional decisions to win the scenario.

But there is something that already bothers me a bit:
The artwork, the graphic style of the regional decisions cards/couters he is not really 100% homogeneous for rest of this beautiful looking game! :non:

Why AGEOD has not shown more care to this? :grr:

Each turn the side with the higher number of victory points has 50% chance of adding (CSA) or removing (USA) one from foreign intervention level (same is true for the moral). As Several Regional Decisions will bring victory points it can be interesting to play them... if your resources are not needed for something more important.

Only one that I dont get is the Rough Seas card, that should be replaced with something else.

Coal torpedos would be nice later in the war.

You should not be getting rough seas anymore if you start a game with the public beta patch.
