No. The devs have said there are no plans for a demo. You can get a good feel for the game with the AAR's.

Thanks, saw the older thread, too. I agree with Pocus's reasoning, better to spend man-hours on a good product than a demo.
Mebbe I'll get it with first patch.

sorry, but no way I'm going to buy it without a demo. I want to see the changes between this and AACW firsthand

Shame there is no demo as I play the demos of each game to:-
a) see if I like the game
b) to see if the game works on my pc

Demo's have turned me off of far more games than they've convinced me to buy. The only game that a demo convinced me to purchase was Close Combat 2: A Bridge Too Far.
I bought AACW1 after I pirated it randomly and found I couldn't patch it past 1.06. Kinda knocked me out of my pirate phase. Knowing I only have a small piece of the game encourages me to look at it's warts. Giving me an early version of the game and then telling me I can't have the fixes makes me buy it.

The older games can be an indication of what you can expect. They are available at a very cheap price.
Ageod isn't a big company, and me personally (being in IT also) appreciate the hard work, and want them to continue making titles.
That means, getting our your money, and paying the guys. Otherwise, it's gonna stop at some point.
