I just noticed on the map that the game now gives us The Missing Link, a rail connection between Selma and Montgomery, Alabama. As far as I know this obvious connection was never built, so that transfer of troops from east to west had to go by a circuitous route through Mobile (for example, Bragg's redeployment prior to the 1862 invasion of Kentucky). I always wondered why the South wasted resources on ironclads rather than using some iron to build that potentially critical rail link. Thanks!

It's literally amazing to me how so many people know so many things about The Civil War. i learn so much stuff, just by reading the forums. Kudos.
