Set up is not running

I purchased Alea Jacta on the pre-order. The e mails all came through OK and I have a link to the pre-order game and seperate e mails with the key and the patch. I have downloaded the Pre-Order file and have an Application Setup_AJE_POVersion which is 778,847kb downloaded.

When I try running this after the normal windows message after I am sure nothing happens. The application has started to run as I can see it in processes in task manager but is not firing properly to set-up the game. I downloaded the file again as I thought it might have been corrupted but the result is the same.

I have not applied the key or patch as I assumed this should be done after the program has installed itself on my hard drive.

I am running Windows Vista Service Pack 2 on an AMD Quad Core Processor with 2.5 GHz and 4 Gb memory

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong or the problem. Thanks

Could you try to disable UAC before installing the game, please ?

Generally when the app seems to be stuck in memory, with a process appearing in the task manager but nothing more, this is the sign of the AV blocking it (or the UAC, but less often from my experience). Norton is notorious for that e.g
