Have returned to an MP with 2 others (4 Emp...) after some time away from game.
Whilst waiting for game to load - my comp. OS is Win10 w/ latest update - appeared to be taking much longer than I remember. I noticed on screen that file used Win 8.

Should I un/re install?

I do not actually know. But to me, it sounds like you formerly enable the game to run in Windows 8.
My suggestion, just check via admin mode which mode your are running.
