Hi, I'm playing the first scenario marius v sulla and I'm Marius.
Hi can't figure out why the province is of a vivid red color despite the fact that ownership filter is NOT activated. I happens only when my nearby army is selected. See the screenshot in the link below.
Any idea ?

Think of it as a zone of control indicating your force cannot move into the region. Sometimes, a smaller or especially cavalry force may not have the same restriction.

It's the zone of control mechanism. I tried to explain it here:

In your case the enemy fortress in the region you currently are don't let you advance into another enemy controlled region.
You will have to take the fortress first or use only evasive units to advance and take some control of the red zone and then move the rest of the army.
