after Hannibal release, it looks as if the game has lost some momentum (guess there are ther games on the table and limited resources)
any news on dlc or expansion? we all agree that there are many interesting Roman subperiods to explore¡
thanx

I just bought PW and HAn during the independence sale I would liek to see more support for this game maybe attilla or barbarian invasion scenarios.

I do quite like AJE, but if I had to pick between continued support for AJE or PON I will pick PON without a moment's hesitation.

It would be nice to see some of the latter Roman Empire scenarios, something taking place towards the end of the empire. Post-Diocletian specifically.

I think a great campaign for Alea Jacta Est would be a campaign, or series of scenarios covering Belisarius' campaign to re-conquer Italy for Emperor Justinian and the Byzantine Empire!

Hi

A new patch with improvements and fixes is in the works.

But there are no immediate plans for new expansions, sorry...

Me too! I think everyone who bought this game wants to see a Caesar in Gaul campaign, for example. But at this point I'll be satisfied to see a solid 1.05 patch released on Steam.

*bump*

Any news about an expansion, guys?

Maybe one last DLC, featuring the late Roman era?

Yes, Caesar in Gaul would be great! Rome in Britain would also be wonderful. I would greatly like to see both of these.

Octavian vs. Anthony gets my vote, but make it 10+ years long as I doubt a large decisive naval battle will occur very often in most games. You could create lots of what if events to get most of the other nations on map in play as well, it could rival Caesar vs. Pompey in scope.

Sadly guys, there are currently no plans for expansions...the only scenario that is somewhat advanced is one about Aurelian, made by Hobbes. It may still see the light of day...

But no other expansions are planned or likely, not at least with the original dev team (that in effect is no more)

Ahh, too bad... AJE is one of your best games. Simple to play, hard to master, and featuring presumably the most popular empire in history.

Maybe one day :/

Yes, too bad there are no new scenario packs planned. AJE is the best Ageod title, IMHO. :(

However, I remember reading about Hobbes's Aurelianus scenario. I hope it will be finished some day!

Maybe the devs could start making a completely new ancient warfare game using the latest version of the Ageod engine? One can always hope! :)

Hi guys.

Just an info. Hobbes is no longer working on Aurelian scenario. He passed it on to me (pretty advanced), and it is now my responsability, not his, to finish it.
I can give no deadline, though, as I need some "rest" from AJE, also due to RL issues.

It will come... ;)

An Aurelian scenario is definitely an immediate purchase for me. That said, I'm really hoping that you lot decide to make a Peloponnesian War game after you're done with Napoleon.
