So, only if I click on "legionary cohort" I will see the model skilled ? The units must have at least 5 stars to be skilled ?

No, when they get to a whole star of experience there is then a chance to upgrade to the next unit type if available. They will then upgrade again after getting the second star of experience.

I have noticed that in the portaits folder of AJE there are some images of legionaries that I have never seen in the game. Maybe they are those images that appear when a legion becomes experienced ?
