Hi there,

I'm learning the ropes of this game by reading AAR's and tutorials. Tried Mercenary war scenario but did not know what I was doing really (had no clue about game mechanics) so I quitted.

I've finally gotten time to learn how the game works and am ready to start a real game. I own only BOR and am wondering what scenario and side is best suited for a first time player?

I would say the Senones (or Samnite War) scenarios as Rome are good introductory scenarios, IMHO

Hister - I do agree with Franciscus, but Pyrhic Victories is also fun solo, as Pyrrus.

Thank oyu guys, will try it out. Hope I don't get overrun by those pesky Celts and Samnites!
