Why don't you make new ORIGINAL faces for the consuls in BOR ? I get angry when I see the Agrippa's face in the First Punic War scenario !

For the leaders, we must first find some historical faces, and after find others because they're not very numerous...
After, the first punic war compulse many many consul faces... and we have only one (very good) artist !
And PANGI make not only the AJE-BOR leaders faces, but the troopers too ! Many time to work on that !
If you can find some original consul faces, please send us !
(Sorry for my bad english !)

well i think it is almost impossible to find the real consuls portraits from these times. for me the sculpture photos are the best material to work with. i think all of them which i made are my pure artistic invention - faces of beta testers or some ancient bust of uknown persons. but yeah, you are right and i know it -> the more the better. I'm preparing a pack of images for the game so there will be maybe some consuls too.

The Romans (and the Greek) were prolific bust and statue sculptors, so I'm sure it would be possible to discover quite a few original faces for the consuls too. The problem is where to find them. I'm no art historian, so I don't know how much there's such material in print.
AGEOD games have excellent graphics, so thanks for your efforts!

The HBO Rome TV series has some interesting faces. Although I seriously doubt Cleopatra looked anything like Lyndsey Marshal. Too bad for Cleopatra.

For example, why you didn't use this image for Pýrrhos ?

He ! He ! We have already the faces of the great leaders !
But if you can find some carthaginian faces (except the Barcid family), I will take all !

Carthage must be a particularly difficult nut to crack. The Romans did a thorough job of wiping out that civilization. We don't even have any Carthaginian sources for the Punic Wars.

To represent the consul ... Consuls, since they come in pairs ... There must be men in togas, encased in purple see lictors. Consuls represent the republic, the military aspect is only part of their duties. Of course, towards the end of the republic, it was the general who became consuls, but not that.
