Do all the scenarios have a turn limit? Turn limits always make me like I am pressed for time and I feel rushed.

Never mind, I found a pretty good review that mentioned, "All of these options and features are poured into five scenarios, one tutorial scenario and the Spartacus add-on, with scenarios lasting from 25 to 121 simultaneous turns".

Scenarios have a turn limit, however you can still keep playing after the game has officially finished if you feel that the war should not be over for some reason. I did that for example in the Spartacus scenario whereas I got a national moral victory but continued playing until all of Italy fell in my hands.

Thanks, that's nice to know. The Spartacus sounds the most interesting to me.

I was mulling it over almost ready to buy, then I read one more thread about the Spartacus scenario which mentioned that the base game doesn't include the Spartacus scenario, so definitely taking a pass on this considering it was handed out free to preorders.

It was "handed out", as you say, for preordering. You did not preorder, so why should it be "handed out" to you?

Thanks for the suggestion. When I looked, it appears that the site is all in Spanish with no English toggle. I couldn't even find the purchase button for it hehe

Well, AGEOD tried a new model with a game released for an inferior price (20 €

, and then DLC for additional campagins, allowing you to "fine-tune" the content you want. A much better model for everyone than any game sold 40/50 € flat, with additional DLC later on.
But obviously you have a position of principle, whatever the circumstances and the fact that AGEOD tried more than just "DLC at release", so no AJE for you I guess.

That is correct. I don't support the DLC at release for real content. Cosmetic DLC does not matter to me. I just don't buy DLC until there is a gold package with a bunch of it included a long time after release. So no big deal.
