if you see them offering Pride of Nations single scenarios (event he 1880s) for 2,99 € and now take into account that after some complains they started to offer different prices for Euro/Pound/Dollar, you might figure it as "normal"

Indeed a steep price, but I will purchase it to support the game and not because I feel that this scenario is actually worth it anyway..
Though I hope it will be released on Gamersgate too?

What do you mean??? Nobody has this issue...and in addtion the setup files or patches on all websites (Ageod, Matrix, GamersGate) are strictly identical in all respects. The only difference indeed is that we don't have the means to allow you to re-download from us at will and you'll have to store the setup files somewhere.... sure less confortable

I got the scenario as part of my pre-order, but at any rate I think it's worth $4. It's an interesting scenario that you can complete within an hour. If you play as the Slaves, you can decide to conquer Sicily and try to hold out, escape south and hop on boats, or head north and try to escape across the Alps. These three options involve distinct strategies, so it keeps the scenario interesting; the fact that Rome starts weaker than you, and then you have to adapt as they become much stronger, is also fun.
Basically, it's the best scenario if you want to jump in and quickly play a scenario from start to finish. It focuses on a small theatre, the factions begin with very few units, and the goals are pretty clear.

Yes one of the best scenario if not the best with action from start to finish.
