Hello AGEOD,

First : again again, congratualtion for AJE, it s a very good starting point for more ancient warfare  It deserve easly three extensions :)

Now, back to the reason of my Thread. I just started a campaign witn Pontus ( The Great War) and everything was going okay. Huge loss, but Rome was still very busy on the other side of the world so i had the upper hand in Capadocia. This until -74, when i run out of money. I decide to sell slave but if the "Pontus sold slaves" line showed up , i didn t get my 200 dinarii and my armie started to be affected by the lack of wage. What s more, i couldn t buy any reiforcement, or activate any of the diplomatic options. This situation lasted for almost a year - i got the same result when i chose to raise money, it raised a line "Pontus did that" but still no money -and no need to say that after 8 9 months without wages , reinforcement or outside help my armies started to be in pretty bad shapes, and i decide to give up.

I just wonder, is it a bug or something made to re-balance the game ? I believe it s a bug because it doesn t balance anything, but the opposite.

Hello,

As per ScripReport, you got 689 money but as per Logs you got 0. Really weird.

I think we have found why (Sertorain Alliance Funds). The event will be fixed in next patch.

But there is also a display issue, once your money went once under 0, the engine will not display anymore the correct amount. We are going to investigate.

Thank you for reporting

Strange, I thought I replied to this earlier, but it does not seem to have sticked.
Had the same problem, went form 740 to 0 in three turns (didn't check each turn, so I was not sure if it was a single occurance or three seperate ones). I was not at war with Rome yet, and was trying to stir up trouble for Rome by inciting my allies to attack. I was suspecting the Sertorian alliance of draining my coffers. It isn't very clear in the description if the money it is going to cost you is a single event, a recurring event, or is handled "off screen" (that is, without effects on you war chest).

We need a Save+Backups to identify if there is a issue with money having negative values.
