some more questions

Hi folks!

Been playing AJE a lot these days and some questions did arise:

1) When playing the last two scenarios in AD timeline, it is not possible to recruit legions, just buying infantry replacements for them. Is it first possible to recruit legions when Rome is conquered or is this never possible in these two scenarios. If not, why?
2) When hovering the mouse over the denarii field in the main screen, the calculations there never shows the real truth. Sometimes some denarii are missing, sometimes there are too much. I see that denarii from captured equipment are not displayed here. Is there a posibility to show them too in the denarii field on the main screen? What else comes into consideration apart from denarii from captured equipment?

Thanks Chris!

Hello,

Point 1 ; WAD, it's more hiscorical not having the possibilty to buid new legions for this 2 scenarios. But if one of your exsiting legion is destroyed, you could buid it again.

Point 2 ; Known issue. We are working on it

By the time of the Empire the legions were established and if i remember correctly none were used in entirety away from the frontier except for Vespasian's legions which were more of a reaction force.
Vitellius and Primus, for example, sent vexillations off to fight the civil wars. Vexillations were a force taken from each frontier legion, maybe 1000-2000 men each, leaving enough men to hopefully hold the frontier secure.

This is what largely caused the crisis of the third century, so may civil wars were fought in a few decades that the frontier legions were often down to 500-1000 men.
