Sorry if I have overlooked this but I don't see that it has been asked anywhere. Is there a figure that tells the player about how much money they will start the next turn with? There doesn't seem to be any quick and easy way to know how much money the current turn is going to leave you with at the start of next turn. Thanks. This game seems like a sure winner. Can't wait till it goes live.

too much can happen within the 30 days of a turn by your military genius. thus you have to relay on WHAT YOU DID, not what you might earn.

basically:

fixed income (taxes etc) to fixed times in a year

merchants which might get sunk

options from different ledgers (probability and limits when they trigger at all/the AI accepts them)

random events (can effect multiple regions within one turn)

events which need military control over a certain infrastructure (city with it, which can be lost)

event based income (on event-chains of you and the AI (probability))

regional decisions which can be destroyed by enemies, or just fail/decay.

etc.

thereby, no, no planing for sure. no information what will be
keep reserves, dont spend too much for replacements in advance, and get someone to sell him as slave

Thanks for the reply. I figured that might be the reason. I am sure it will all come together for me once I can press the end turn button and get a few turns under my belt. I am naturally very miserly and prudent with my obols. I am counting the minutes untill release! :dada:

You'll have in the tooltip the history of your expenses, so with experience you'll see what cost you a lot. For example maintenance is rather stable over each turn.
