Help!

I am trying to change Trotsky from a leader to a service unit like the British military advisors. In particular i have removed the bottom half dozen lines in the Models folder pertaining to his rank, strategy, offense, and defense.
I changed him from type = leader to type = service.

So, i start the game and run with no ai to the second turn and Trotsky shows up as a leader with rank, strategy, offense and defense values!

I cannot see where the computer is even finding those values, as i have deleted them! I do have two copies of the game on my computer, but i know i am loading some if not all of the files correctly as my modded starting money/conscripts for the Reds are as i wrote them.

Can anyone help? Please?

1) Have you deleted the models.cached?

2) In order for it to actually work, you will probably have to mod the Trotky unit file, too.

Of course i have not deleted the models.cached! What do you think i am,
smart?
