Red AI too passive and few minor problems

This of course is great game but there are still few problems that I noticed playing as south white faction
1) Main problem is that Reds are too passive. They freely let me besiege several of their cities (Novgorod and Tsaritsin) even though their army was more than 2 times larger than mine. Red army didnt even attempted to leave city and engage besieging forces, despite the fact that reds army was stronger. In that way I managed to take Novgorod with just 3 partisan units. And also Reds didnt made any attempts in taking Ukraine. They just let me take everything I wanted. I played Grand campaign.
2) Minor problem was that officer Drozdowsky lost his unique portrait after beeing promoted to 2 star general.
3) Since I am from Latvia, I noticed few map glitches on the map. River that is currently called "Liekupe", should actually be called "Lielupe" what means big river. Also province called Ogre is on the wrong side of Daugava. That province should be called Bauska since that is the main city there. Also "Grobin" should be actually called "Grobina" if you use latvian names, not german or russian.

Could you post the save of the last turn and the backup 1 folder ( located in the savegame folder). With, I could study why AI was passive. AI is genarally currently hiindered in 1919 by lack of troops, so it may be a cause.

Red is lacking money to build sufficient forces. Human players too, but human payers are better at managing ressources and more able to take risk in spite of inferiority. So the RED AI is itself considering its inferiority allows it only pure defensive.
I've posted in the mod forum a file giving more ressources to all factions, played by players or AI; You should try a new game with. If the problem would repeat with thses new files, I would take new investigations about. But I don't see any other cause for now as AI events seems to firing normally.
Thanks again.

Also my game ctd quite often after long playing (2-4h). At the log it says something about insuficient memory. I have 4 GB RAM. What could be the problem?

Look here:

But if it's after a few hours of play, it's more suspicious...

I made a little experiment yesterday: I cheated against myself and gave the RED 2000 rubbles, 2000 conscripts and 600 war supplies at the beginning of 1919. Suddenly the Red Ai became a lot more agressive.
In April, I had to fight my way to Novgorod free with two Northwestern White and two German divisions. At that task I prevailed however my divisions were in bad shape. The Reds next move was a counter-attack from Petrograd which virtually wiped me out.
In the South I fared better; but there too the AI defended every step of the way vigorously. This time I wiped out a Red Army. However I lost almost the entire Greek expeditionary force (for some strange reason this one division bore most of my casualties).
My point is: the AIs passivity is just its (very sane) reaction to its lack of forces.

Hence my UNOFFICIAL and PROVISIONAL mod in the mod forum...

I agree Athena needs weapons to fight...We are sorting things out.
