I have been away from AGEOD for a while and didn't realize Gold came out. I own the original and want to play it a bit but now I only see places with the Gold version and can only find patches for the original. Where would I go to re-download the original one?

If like at now, when you bought you had 2 weeks to download your installation file (it's better to save it on your external hard-drive..), afterward you must send a support request (with the more proofs of purchase), maybe to Slitherine now instead of Ageod.

ERISS, by the way, is there any way to improve translation by myself?
Russian translation is kind of clunky.

I guess you talk about original RUS? Then hurry download it's database here, as soon it may be removed for the Gold version:

Database is needed to easier mod the game (still it may be some boring).
However there was a russian original version made by Akella, which should have a good translation.

The Gold database is still not released, we're waiting for, with the patch...
The Gold game has directly the russian translation (made by russian beta testers, not Akella, you find it bad?).

I am playing Gold version. Translation is not too bad, I would rather say it is not completed.
In order to modify the game I have to wait the Gold database?
