Fire Combat Effects – Casualties: Strength point losses from Fire combat are assessed according to the type of element that is firing. Infantry and cavalry elements that score a hit during Fire combat cause the target element to lose one (1) strength point. Artillery elements that score a hit generally cause a two (2) strength point loss. Heavy artillery units (siege artillery, ships, etc.) that score a hit cause a three (3) strength point loss.
Ranged Damage: These values indicate the number of strength points/ cohesion points the element inflicts when it scores a hit on an enemy unit in Fire combat.
