Does the "Armored Support" special ability pertain to cavalry?

I mean if I have a cavalry division with armored cars will the "armored support" ability have any effect on cavalry units?

Yes, they will have an effect.
See Bornego's clear explanation over on the Paradox forum.

The division gains the benefit, but only on a one per division basis.

Tanks and armored cars can be regarded as "enchanted cavalry" with high protection values. So any commander with cavalryman trait will boost fire and especially assault values even more as they have "cavalry model". They can be very powerful in close combat.

So does cavalry gain a bonus from "armored support" or not? I beg your pardon for the rudeness, yet the creator of the AAR you've shown has said to never have stated any additional benefits acquired by cavalry divisions when they have a unit with "armored support".

Orel,
You are a better reader than I. No bonus to cavalry.
My apology.
