Has anyone tried 3-person multiplayer?

I'm interested in hearing whether anyone has tried the campaign by e-mail with 3 human players.
How are such games working out in practice? In particular, is it fun for the WHITE player who takes the Siberians?
Also, are there any logistical difficulties in managing multiplayer PBEM?
(I want to fire up a PBEM, but don't like the idea of leaving a WHITE faction to AI control, and also don't want to give one player responsibility for both WHITE factions.)
Thanks!

I haven't tried it yet, but why do you think it wouldn't be fun for the Siberian player? Their setup is just as complex as the Southern Whites, even if the happen to be in a more or less contiguous theater (rather than being split into 3 separate, independent armies).
I'm actually tempted to organize a 3-way PBEM game...(but I'd probably do so on the Paradox forums)

I have actually organized a 3-player Multiplayer-PBEM at SI-Games(
http://www.si-games.de) and if nothing else happened we will start tomorrow evening.
I'll do the Communist faction part although I like the White case more.
My counterparts have some decent PBEM experience with AACW and for myself it s my first PBEM.
I would try to start an AAR in that forum, but I am the only one from our group with an AAR. As soon as I start the AAR I will set a link to si-games.de.
Regretably the AAR is only in German sofar because I want to do some propaganda for AGEOD in Germany.
greetings

My (limited) reading on the Russian Civil War generated some worry that the action in the Siberian theater would be exciting at first, with the Czech Legion, Komuch, and Kolchak's Coup, but that the limitations of manpower and resources in the theater would soon make it difficult for the Siberians to keep any effective threat going.

Where would you do it? Paradox lacks a forum for RUS, as far as I can tell, and I could not find a general PBEM forum, either.
I will be very happy to be proved wrong about either of these statements!

I'm playing the three players Great campaign with the Siberians. We played 16 turns. It's like the Confederate States armies in 1865.
It's a little bit tricky with no money but there's always something to do. I don't know how it'll be in one or two ingame year but untill now it's quiet all right.

I'm playing the Siberians in the Kolchak Siberian Coup Campaign with 2 others buddies. So far, so good.

The OT of course.
I've already set one up before you sent me the message. We'll play Drang Nach Osten after I'm done with my current set of games, perhaps?

A perfectly logical place to go looking for a RUS game.

By the way if anyone here is up to it I'm ready for a 3 players Grand Campaign game (I'd rather play one of the Whites). I have time for 1 or 2 turns a day or more maybe.
Let me know here or send me a private message
