I'm noticing playing with the 1.01rc2 patch that there is no space in the Red replacement production screen to buy replacements for elite troops. Probably a bug?

There is one available when the Hungarians are still around, but disappears when they do and so the Latvians can't get replacements and they are the only elite red troops. There was no response to my thread on it so I have no idea if it is WAD or not.

I did the Internationalist regiments and sure enough the elite replacements are now back on the production screen. I'm wondering if the Lativans can receive those replacement points, though.

I'd have been a lot more careful with the Latvian troops if I knew they couldn't get replacements...

What happened to the Hungarians? I noticed they disappeared; I was thinking I'd gotten them killed somehow without noticing.

As of the 1.01 patch, there is an event saying that Bela Kun and the Hungarians go ff to spread the revolution to Hungary.

Does latvians get replacements after estabilishing of Latvia as Soviet republic? Since historically, Soviet republic of Latvia mobilised about 100k of troops. Of course, after collapse of soviet republic in Latvia, only part of them evacuated since most of them deserted. But still 15-30k made it back to Russia. So shouldnt latvians get replacements after estabilishing of soviet republic in Latvia? Also, following Great war, about 200k persons from Latvia, mainly latvians evacuated to Russia that could serve as recruiting pool for these elite units. And there were also latvian colonists, about 100k of them through the Russia. So is lack of replacement really justified?

Good point. Latvians will get replacements.

Actually after a few turns you received " International Communists " Rgts to help and they are also Elite. In version 1 you could get elite replacements.
