Poland in GrandCampaign

I completed my second campaign as Reds and i had no diplomatie or Politic to enter war with Poland. Does it mean that historically, Poland was the agressor ?
Is this because the Franco-Greek expedition was still in the South ?
I suppose that you have to take some important harbors/towns in the south so that they (the allied expedition) leave Russia Civil War.
