Factions available at start of the GCs

Although I cannot play the demo due to my RAM limit on myl laptop, I still have a important question.

From how many factions can I choose at start of the two main campaigns...??
Can anybody enlighten me...?? And are these factions the same in the full version...??

In the demo there is only 1 campaign, the uprising of the Czech legion in mid 1918 and there you can play The Communist, Southern White, and Siberian White.

There are some tutorials but I haven't played them.

For the full version:

Southern Whites, Siberian Whites, Ukrainians, Greens, Anarchists, Poland and ...Reds.

Drang scenario (historical uchrony where Germany has won WW1 and fights against Soviet Union) adds Germany. Of course.

Greens and Anarchists can't be played, They are exclusively AI driven. Ukrainians too can't be played by a player, unless they are allied with Poland for example.

There's too a Finland faction in the scenario depicting Finnish Civil War

Cool. I think that is a fair number, allowing for a degree of replay-ability for all sides. Shame cannot play Mahknos Anarchists however...just been reading about him today.

Ditto. Is it possible via modding? I.e. is it just a case of changing a line somewhere from PlayingAsMakhnoIsPossible=No to Yes :D or does a human-playable faction need much, much more?
