[FINAL EDIT]: it works fine
It was my mistake, you have to point the installer to the "common" steam folder. Confirm you wants the installer to overwrite the existing folder/files.

If you install the patch somewhere else and then copy over the files some problems occur

Open the ROP/Gamedata/Models folder. You should have 2 files beginning with 986. Delete one.Then delete the file named Models in the same folder.
