Hi,

I just got the game via Steam.
I applied the patch directly on the game but now after the launch, I've got critical error.

The Steam gamers must wait until the patch is delivered by Steam servers ?
If yes, do you know if the patch will be available before the week-end ?
(As the patch erase saved games, I want to start and save in order to play again after)

Clearly something did not work correctly with the patch, as your log indicates 1975 Units, where there should be only 1007. The crash is 'duplicate UID' from the first duplicated file it found.

I don't know if Steam puts any read/write protection on or something like that, but that is my guess [the patch deletes some files, the writes new ones. Often the file names are changed....]

Have you asked Steam these questions?

I will delete and redownload the game via Steam but as the patch erased saved game... I will just start playing.

have you been able to locate your Rise of Prussia - Steam installation? The best way if yes is to duplicate the game to another place and patch it to your heart's content.
