Rise of Prussia original price on GamersGate has been reduced to €14,95. And with the 70% discount that is on currently, I got the game just for €4,49! So get your copies while it lasts, I finely got mine :) .

ROP price reduced on AGEOD too

The $4.49 price is unbelievable! No one who wants the game should pass that up.

But I am wondering, what is the "Other DRM" that is mentioned in the GamersGate Rise of Prussia product page?

Excellent! I was going to buy it off of Gamersgate, but I'll wait a day or two for the RoP sale to appear on your website.

Damn you Philippe. Damn you all to damnation and oblivion. First GOG goes crazy by offering almost 300 classical games with major discount, then GamersGate, and now AgeOD?! Thank the Lord that my credit card maximum is limited, no matter the balance. Otherwise I'd be broke by the end of December. :bonk: Crazy month indeed.

I never used gamersgate so I'm not familiar with it, are there any hooks?
This low prices looks suspicious.

No hooks as I've bought many games from GamersGate with absolutely no hassle. GG is an excellent online game store.

Although some say it is better to buy straight from the developer as they get more of a cut of the proceeds of the sale.

Don't have a clue of how contracts in gaming business are but isn't there at least a floor price that the dev gets for every sold copy?
Would be a pity if such shops throw the games out almost for free and what the dev gets isn't even worth the paperwork he had with that shop.
