Early October and harsh weather (snow) in Bohemia, although up north in the mountains regions and in all Germany no snow at all.
It is suppose to be like that? Personally i woul'd expect snow in North Germany first and probably 1-2 month later.
Best regards

I have to admit, I don't know how exactly the snow probability is calculated in RoP. However, if things go bad you can have more than four months of harsh weather during a winter.
What is today the Czech Republic actually seems to get less snow than Saxony for example. Northern Germany feels more like Siberia in this game.
On the other hand, one should keep in mind that harsh weather in this game represents not just actual snow but weather condition to harsh for campaigning in general.

Weather could be tweaked a bit to have snow arriving later in the campaign year, but in that era, it was rather common to stop campaigning early in the winter (although it was not that true in THAt war

)
Also remember that the tearly 18th century has been name 'Little Ice Age' by many historians for the severe winter conditions that were found then (much harder than nowadays)

Our multiplayer campaign is in climax and snow started to fall in Bohemia!!!
Damn little ace age⦠waiting for turn resolution
Just frustrated, that snow first started in Bohemia and not in North Germany as I expected.

Bohemia is inland, with a continental climate, and generally a bit higher then North Germany. North Germany is situatied against the north sea, which profits from a warm gulf stream.
To me the turns where there is snow in North Germany, but not in the mountains in Bohemia actually look wrong....

Yes I agree, Balkans are the same. Regions have a border with adriatic Sea doesnt get snow but central balkans with mountains are snowy most of the time. But Mountains are not necessary to attract snow.
In game Poland does get less snow from North Germany. Poznan have some 84 meters altitude but no snow. Gdansk have snow most of the time, Usually Russians passes thorough that city to attack Kolberg.
AI can end up in Poznan to get supply most of the time as it is clear weather.That is very common.
