As shown elsewhere I am trying to understand the different units (even making an excel spreadsheet of the values - I'll post when it is mostly done).

The Prussian has two kinds of Guard units.
One is the Corps du Garde, a cavalry unit.
The other is the LeibGrenadier, an infantry unit.

The infantry unit has the special ability "Guard", the Corps du Garde has not.
The manual does not state what this special ability does.

Questions: does this ability actually do anything at the moment?
If it does (and even if it doens't), why does the infantry unit have it, and the cavalry unit not?

The ability does nothing at the moment, it's purely chromatic. It can't be added right now on the cavalry unit because of the way we created the cavalry model template...will need to be fixed in a further revision of the DB, but not till a major patch
