Hi All,
I`m playing PON after July 2018. Very Great Game!
Is obviosly, that I`m a fan of Victorian Age, this period`s Diplomasy, Warfare, Shipbuilding, Politics, etc., etc.
Because only PBEM allows to open the full PON potential and depth, I seeking opponents for PBEM.

My Game: PON v 1.04.5
Preferred Scenario: 1880 Campaign
Preferred Nations: Russia (more preferred), Austria, Japan
Expectable Game tempo: 1 turn/week.

This is my preferences, but I go to consider a any possible variants or opportunities, including house rules, if HR needs.

To the end, I never playing into Paradox`s Victorias, but, strangely, with enormous fun enjoying with Europa Universalis, and now think, because it is a Philippe Tibaut`s design games.

Is there a worldwide campaign in the game or is this a DLC?

Is there a worldwide campaign in the game or is this a DLC?

In the PoN Game is a global Grand Campaign 1850-1920. The Campaign, that is dedicated to Period 1880-1920, is a DLC Scramble of Africa.

Now in the community The Wargaming Club (TWC) is playing a multiplayer game from the campaign of 1850 - 1920. 11 players are participating, the pace of the game is 2 turn per week.

Ah I see....will have to pick them up for sure.

Are you guys receiving any error messages or crashes due to missing late Engineering units for the European Nations when playing the 1880 campaigns? (Italy)

Not at all. But we are still beginners- Now just 16th turn is coming.

Highly unlikely; I will have to install a separate PON version. I corrected most of the current visual bugs, completely rewrote all the script events; including the AI, and my weather map currently adheres to Koppen Geiger weather classification which also completely overhauls weather engine ( Work in Progress).

TLDR: I can't go back to playing the buggy vanilla PON game.

P.S. Mexico is missing several late game infantry units portraits which need 'portrait' placement holders to appear. Might be buggy to play Mexico.

Cool! Seems like you're talking about creating a separate mod for PON. When will it be finished? Will you publish it here?

No, I will not separate the fixes and optimization once I finish.

A couple years. I work 300 days out of the year; none stop. Learning how to draw and utilize graphic tablet for the missing portraits is causing me to extend my time-line.

Maybe, if I am allowed to publish diff fixes in github which includes removing files in the game directory.

No, it's a complete overhaul of the game.
