What are the effects of Economic Crisis? Is a +5 inflation one of those effects?

the good thing though is that once the crisis is over you'll usually get an event or two that will eliminate most of the extra inflation

and what triggers this?

Is there any way to combat the affects?

it seems to arise if an AI state has too much Private Capital (there is also a random element). Basically simulates the various 2-3 year economic crises that were such a feature of the second half of the nineteenth century. If your own country is stable its of little worry, a bit of militancy, some lost satisfaction and so on. But if you are already facing unrest it can really add to your problems.

In game, it will happen, and it will go away, so its a short term drag on economic development

But what are the actual effects? So there was a +5% inflation. What else? What does "some militancy" mean? +1% revolt risk or +15% revolt risk. Is there an actual list of what the effects are?

I really like this feature, I think it adds a lot of flavor to the game!
