I am Prussia/Germany in 1875 and was ahead in Fiji for CP and kept at it until one turn, and lo and behold GB has instantly made it a colony. What the hey? I am working on Okinawa too, will it instantly become a Japanese colony in one turn also even though I am ahead in CP? Anyone else have this happen to them?

didnt they were made colonies by event ?
and sometimes it is good to look at "enemy" colonial actions you see what they do - and if tehy are making then colony before you..even greater CP cant save you. You shold run colony event sooner than them .
