Hey all,

a friend of mine and me are considering starting a PBEM campaign to maintain as a long-term side project of ours. Are there any specific recommendations for a particular patch version that has proven particularly successful in regards to minimizing problems in PBEM? Should we just go with 1.04 RC2 with the quickfix?

I'd say yes.

1.04 really improved the colonial game but the lag around F4 was painful and the immortal garrison bug unplayable. With those 2 gone, its a much better base than 1.03
