Surrender of fortifications

Hello, I have installed beta patch 4 for PON and in the options I have the entry that I can conquer all provinces. I´m playing Austria and I attacked Italy, many cities surrenderd for many times, but I can´t conquer the provinces because there many new defenders. What is the Problem?

the new beta patch has an infinite garrison bug. Try playing on 1.03e or d (same thing, letter changes depending on when installed).

I have patch 1.04a since I didn't dare to install the beta patch (
http://www.ageod-forum.com/downloads/ROP_Patch.zip) and it works fine. Just don't be dissapointed that in the peace treaty it will only let you keep Alessandria (if you get near 150 war points) since you can only claim adjacent regions it seems.
EDIT: Dummy, checked on the patch version and it's 1.03 :P
