I have a dream : "Pride of Crusaders Universalis"

I have a dream. Europa Universalis has been re-written using a WEGO turn based engine similar to PON instead of the un-managable-unplayable-headacke-generating real time paradox engine.

I know it's just a dream as the EU rights have been sold.

But after all, rules could be based on PON and the history coverage could be (let's be ambitious): 1100-1920.

We call it: "Pride of Crusaders Universalis" and that's it ;-)

Non ? Ok the name can be improved ;-)

Anyway, PON is by far the best grand strategy game to date !

I wish me a Pride of Nations, which simulates the first world war of 1914-1918. That would be so nice. :coeurs:

Well, your dream game already exist: World War One of AGEOD. No ? It's not good ? I bought it but haven't played yet. My PC wasn't strong enough ... should try it later but PON is too addictive. ;-)

WWI is based off a board game, not the AGE engine. I personally enjoy it, but it's a very different experience.

Though a single game would be awesome. Yes, CIV exists but it's a pretty juvenile product.

+1000

I can't wait for it !

Hurry up AGEOD, go back to work, you're gonna be busy now ! :-)))

I'd buy two copies of each just to make sure I always had a backup! :coeurs:

This would be THE game of the century. It would propel AGEOD the number one game company in the world. Fame and fortune ensured. This would be THE ultimate historical strategy game, and turn based WEGO of course ! But PON engine is a must (needs an improve for the turns duration if we want it to be the huge worldwide success it deserves.

I also love the idea of a series of games than hand off each other.

Philippe Thibault, if you read us, you know what to do next. ;-)

Will Matrix help ? I'm sure they will.
