Just purchased PON and when I try to run it I get a empty box with AGE in the bar. After clearing it twice I get a box with “Exception EinOutError dans le module PON.exe dans 000E3225” in it. I assume this might have to do with the key GamersGate gave me so I went to register and PON was not listed in the pull down list. Sorry if this is explained somewhere on the forum but I could not find it.

I have the same problem. Purchased PON from Gamers Gate and when I went to register there was no entry for the game in the list. Also tried to use the tech suppoet and get a "you do not have permission to access this page" message. Thirdly (probably in the wrong place) When I attempted to install patch 1.03 there was an error message saying that the installer couldn't access the .exe file. When it finally installed game would ctd after first turn. I have reinsalled the game and all is fine. Are all patches cummlative? Or do you have to install all patches in order? Sorry for the litany of issues in one place, just trying to get it working properly. Thank you for any assistance.

Hi just to answer your last point (not sure about the others), if you install 1.03 that includes all the patches so no need for the rest. Also suggest you download the 1.03d hotfix (you do need 1.03 installed first though), well worth it for the various improvements

Thank you for your response. I purchased through Gamers Gate. Do I need to go there for the patch or can I download from the link here?

use the links on these forums, you'll need some sort of file extraction software - 7z is good as it is freeware and can handle most types. Copy the download into the game directory, extract it and run the exe.

So you just reinstalled the game and it worked? Did you need the patch for it to run?

You won't be able to access the PON forum at Paradox very soon, as the forum there will be closed, so this is why you did not get a key from GG.

About your issue Spaulding, if you see only a tiny window and AGE as a title, this is because the game was not installed correctly because it lacked administrator rights. Try installating it with 'run as administrator' then run it likewise. Also if possible, install it elsewhere than on Program Files.

Yes you need to patch. 1.03 patch is all inclusive, but the quickfix are not, so you must install 1.03 then latest quickfix.

Thanks for your help. I reinstalled and now it works fine. The only thing I did different was not to change the default install path.

I did download and install 103 and 103d. All seems to be progressing in my first campaign. The initial game screen is showing 103d as the version number so I believe all is well. Thanks again for your help.

Hi Spaulding,
Yes just reinstalled then added patches 103 and 103d. The opening screen after launch shows the title , versiion number and my computer name. All has been running well. It installed in C:/games. Don't know why it went there but it seems to be working ok.
