Hi all.

I'm soon going to fight the Crimean war again. Does anyone have experience of good landing areas for an invasion of Russia's Baltic coast?

You might start the war in the Black Sea - naval supremacy there allows you to cut off any Russian forays down the Balkans or into Anatolia from the Caucasus, and capturing Odessa and the other ports provides a great defensive position to engage the Russians. Letting the Turks capture a few things helps get them in a position to make peace. Then Then strike St P in Spring by a small landing in Finland to seal it off from the north and the main landing in the Baltics with easy access to StP.

My idea of protecting Turkey in the future was forcing the Russians to emancipate some states in the Caucasus and Baltic.

Do it as close to the historical thing and the best results are guaranteed.
