When does the Anglo-Burmese war end by event?

I don't think there is an event that ends this war through script. You have to finish it the normal way, through diplomacy. If you have accrued enough warscore they should yield.

Well, we are technically at peace, however they still attack me. I have read another post and apparently it does stop by event. Just wondering when, considering that they've been hostile for over a decade now.

Just conquer Rangoon, build up CP elsewhere and colonise them. No more war then, can usually do this within 2 or 3 years at the start of the game, its always the first thing I do.

Tribal nations will attack you (even if at "peace") if you have a negative relations. If you get your relations above 0, they should stop attacking your troops.
