Supplying fleets

Hi folks.

It is 1859 in my GB campaign and recently the Falklands have been without supply, despite me not having made any changes to fleets in that region. Any ideas why this might be?

Thanks.

Normally supply is distributed by fleets in the MTB (Merchant Trade Boxes). Did you move one of those (it should be the La Plata box)? Option 2 is that forces in another area linked to that trade box are taking too much supply.

There can be an emergency "supplying method" by setting transports near a sea invading region. If I understood correctly how it works, the transports will pass supplies to nearby region troops.

Over-the-beach supply of troops requires a transport with supplies sitting in the adjacent sea.

Merchant fleets redistribute supplies among friendly ports served by their MTB, and do supply themselves, but I don't know know how exactly the mechanism works that moves supplies from the capital to the MTB merchant and/or the ports.

Ok thanks guys. Having had another look, I think that my troops who are rebel-hunting in central America may be sucking up all the supplies in that region.
