Question regarding Wool/Cotton

Hi folks?

Is it possible that wool/cooton, which comes from trade posts to your empire, does not sum up into the stockpile? Playing as Britian you get the message every turn that loads of wool/cotton come from your trade posts (as other goods come too) but they don`t sum up in the pool ... every other good does for example. Playing as France or Prussia I experience the same with just wool/cotton as not being able to add to my national stockpile, while every other good does ...
Is this a (even already known) bug or WAD?

Btw. I'm playing the latest version 1.02d

Thx for help

Does it actually say cotton/wool, or do some say wool and others say cotton?

I wonder if it is a problem with how resource sites work. On the map you have cotton and wool resource sites that enable different buildings, however both sets of buildings actually produce cotton/wool which is a different resource. If the trade post is just looking at the map and picking a resource from the region and producing that then it would produce say cotton. This would then be added to the cotton stocks, but this is never displayed.
What is needed (if it isn't already there) is a conversion process (like converting food into preserved food) that converts all cotton, and wool, into cotton/wool - it doesn't need a button to turn it off.

Could this a case of the goods imported from trade posts goes direct to national consumption and never gets a chance to add to the stockpile?

Turn off your Textile Mills for a turn and check.

Not with 1.02d - it was changed so that doesn't happen. The sequencing is now such that trade posts' production is added after the national market - just so that you can see the goods being added.

Already done this with the same output. Wool/Cotton from trade posts does not seem to add to the national stockpile ...

I have done some checking and wool from a trade post is added to the wool stockpile - not the cotton/wool stockpile. This means that it effectively disappears from the game as nothing looks at the wool stockpile.

I believe it is time for a wiki page with all bugs we've found so far. It might speed up the procedure of killing them. Including suggestions we've implemented in the MP: Yemeni/Omani bugged colonial region, undiscovered rivers that still pathfind normally, a fix proposal for Parana and East Persia, Niger's capital, this one...

Too bad... most probably a typo there... :(
