The prestige gauge is incorrect. When your nation is in the lead, the index is to the left (red) side of the gauge. When your nation is losing, your index is on the green side.
On diplomacy window you still cannot scroll down to see all entries there, when too many are in effect.

fix the gauge

Well said, perhaps the developers can fix this in the next patch, while also fixing the too slow frame rate. I only get 25FPS or so. :bonk:

I would really like to see some sort of ledger in v1.03 with all the stats graphed and seen in perspective as they increase and decrease.

By the way, can anyone explain to me how Bakufu Japan is capable of being second in the social ranking?!

Kensai, i cant say why it is second in ranking... i would expect it first and dont know who messed it up ^^

high loyalty right to nobility and shogun made it possible to have happiness of about 90 points without using reforms...
thus Japan has the first and best rank in all my games until mid 1860s.

Playing USA after the ACW and giving right to vote to the blacks, i took over rank one, while having an average of 87% happiness...

depends also on economic crisis, early power in game are not able to compensate the penalties, Japan has a closed economy and gets no bottleneck effect.

What I suspected. Actually, Japan has been number 1 for a while in social ranking, only recently superseded.

I guess it is correctly shown. I have indeed very high containment values and people are even enthusiastic in some of my provinces. Probably, because they don't know different (as it happened in real Tokugawa Japan!)... :king:

In the beginning I thought social ranking was a gauge of how advanced is the social fabric of a country according to "Western" standards (no child labor, elected officials, social security, etc). But it seems, correctly actually, that it depends on how happy are the citizens of a nation, even if they have a ruthless dictator on top.

A few little things:
- New Zealand Constitution and Miner Rebellion decisions stay on the F1 screen without choices taking effect for months on end.
- GBR-US trade treaty and Miner Rebellion events both give messages in format evt_nam__GBR_etc but display fine in F1 screen.

I was going to report this and I'm glad I searched for it to make sure I wasn't duplicating. I got this too. Turn after turn I chose the option to help the miners to avoid a revolt and next turn it was still there like I hadn't done anything. I even tried do nothing option but it was back the next turn. Eventually they revolted. Does this represent government inefficiency? :bonk:
