i just have the first 15 months through, GC US as always...

the extended construction time will do its job. maybe it takes two years longer to run out of interesting structures and thus the shift from building RRS instead would be from 1856/57 to 1858/1859...

the higher costs, well cant speak for minor countries, but as i had predicted it totally backfired for US!

since you have to wait longer for the resources, you have idle capital. what happens, well, every 75 days i rush another structure into service, just to shut it down until its resources would do some good.

sorry, but this part of the game remains to be a matter for modding, not for try and error balancing.
it must be a conclusive mod for each nation, operating in variances in both directions, not changing here and there.

Every rotation of this screw will be nilled through the long time horizon.

For playing GC 1850 with US.... FAR TOO MUCH GOODS in the world market. I can manipulate and destroy the market too easy, with too low offers...

next test run will be done with "our" modded price/import system, maybe you saved us the reshuffling of step by step introduction of structures...

BTW:

thank you ;)

proceeding with bugs:

game was started with OSCAR

expl. and collection centers can be build, even when they already exists.

means:

map filter still shows green for EVERY developed province, even if exp./coll. center already exists

if you accidentally build it over existing building, construction starts and resources are used up...

Are both your posts regarding a campaign continued from Oscar?

Hard to say for sure if they are real bugs unless you start a new campaign.

Hello Queeg,

see lad, i do this kind of reporting for four months now.

THIS PROBLEM WAS NOT there in Oscar and just came into the game with QUEBEC.
Thus, it IS another bug.

and yeah, yesterday i have played the GC with QUEBEC for 15 months

and yeah, I DO TEST IT a couple of times before i post something...

minor bugs (like mere graphical) will not be posted from me, major bugs discussed via PM or email.

and yeah, normally i mod the game myself, but what helps it if other people have this problems too.

i mean, hey, i did start over the GC 1850 with ALL patches since July, i am a hardhat and love this game, play it even at work. i dont bother to play it again and again, but since OSCAR was stable, i carry on my original game in the late 1880s...

why that? look at my thread for Oscar, i found over a dozen major bugs after 1870 (what was the normal time i had to stop whenever the next patch went public)... somewhere progress has to be come from, if official beta testing is not conclusive nor can it be (no offense against the volunteers is intended)

it does not matter whether it is started with OSCAR or not, BUG IS BUG.

Devs announce this to be the public one for Steam later on, Steam user will be pissed off if they get a still buggy game (even if this addresses only saved games), Steam will be too...

other customers either, as soon official patches would again have problems soled months ago (like some in OSCAR) or new ones making another problem...

AND NO! I DONT FORGET THAT THIS IS A BETA

thats why i use the phrase "OBSERVATIONS" and not "BUG! FIX IT DAMN YOU!", i feel i have mutual agreements about this with Pocus and Generalissimo:

i do the shouting into the woods, however THEY do set the priority and the decision whether it needs to be done for ALL players

ok, remember what i wrote about half Europe is on strike?

remember what i wrote about how the major mechanism of the trade system does work, it is not the excessive production what you can see/buy in B-screen, it is the number of goods ABOVE the limits AI should take as reserves...

again old save from OSCAR with new thresholds. No modded game, i originally test the Mr. Grant problem...

1877, with all this malus of Mr. Grant and all this total strikes:

trade offered goods / vs. strongest world economy (US) / vs highest expenditure (US) not included sales to national markets!:

coal

1500 units offered / 699 / 597

nitrates

2700 offered / 62 / 57

Minerals:

2080 offered / 214 / 223

wood:

900 offered / 253 / 124

dyes:

308 offered / 57 / 36

fish

130 offered / 99 /

GUESS WHERE THIS KIND OF MANIPULATION OF THE THRESHOLDS WILL END ???

bloody hell, i cant buy up the market all five years just to fixed the scripted price system thereby.... :indien:

(obviously a rhetorical question, my old save is screwed and the new GC would be somewhere in the clouds... well, 1850 is saved, 1860 rich, after 1870 its GONE...)

Gen. please send Mate...!

ok, this is only about using saved games from OSCAR and multiplayer

new installation, patches to 1.01, patched to QUEBEC

saved game, no mod at all, not even for milit.:

MILITANTISM is zero and does not change within 6 month. not in F6 circle, nor in the cities list

despite it, strikes keep on
***********************

trade fleets MBT still dont want to get replacements

*******************************

i guess you had no time, did ye, for the 1877 problem that GRANT does not leave the office and rules longer than his files expiration date allows it...

well, it does not come from the rulers file, forcing it manually in place works in patch QUEBEC too, rather its the script itself...

remember congress does not change neither after the great betrayal event
